Workrite continues to lead by example with the 2008 release of the eco-conscious Workrite Soleil™ LED task light that brings style without sacrificing sustainability in the workplace.
Recognizing the importance of green building efforts on a larger scale, Workrite Ergonomics has become a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council. We bring our green program full-circle with the commitment to meet our customers’ needs for LEED information. To support your LEED project efforts, our Specification Guide includes product model number specific LEED eligibility information with recycled content and other green or LEED-eligible features.
Our product development efforts are integrated from initial concept to final product, to ensure that our sustainability initiatives will be met. Workrite products incorporate recycled, recyclable and regionally-produced materials whenever possible. Our products are energy-efficient and exceed the stringent California Air Resources Board (CARB) requirements for indoor air quality.
SIERRA ADJUSTABLE WORKCENTERS
LEED eligibility: MR4.1 and 4.2: 2 Points
Our Sierra line of adjustable workcenters brings innovation and eco-consciousness to a new level. Every aspect of the Sierra Workcenter supports environmental sustainability and LEED eligibility. The table tops are made from 100% recycled fiber cores and our laminate surfaces are composed of GREENGUARD® indoor air quality certified materials. The table base alone has a total recycled content over 31% across the entire Sierra table line.

Workrite adjustable keyboard platforms are engineered to have a reduced impact on the environment while supporting healthy work postures and increased productivity. Our Ultra Thin platforms are made from GREENGUARD indoor air quality certified materials so that no harmful chemicals are introduced into your workspace. Wherever possible we avoid the use of virgin materials; our ClassicT boards support this effort with 100% recycled fiber cores while our highly regarded Pinnacle 2 keyboard arms feature a minimum 48% total recycled content.

The Workrite Soleil features a sleek VOC-free powder-coat finish, supporting healthy indoor air-quality. With LED technology, the Workrite Soleil is rated to last over 20 years with normal use, and at the end of those 20 years the shade, arms and base are fully recyclable. In addition to cutting edge LED task lighting we offer an energy-efficient choice for undermount lighting with our Dazz—SL™ line of T5 fluorescent fixtures. By using Workrite Soleil and Dazz—SL fixtures you can be sure you will make significant reductions in the overall energy consumption levels of your workspace.
