Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through computer transactions, physical inventory control and cycle counting. Conducts audits and analyzes variances between perpetual inventory and actual counts.
Essential Job Functions:
• Perform daily cycle counts, variance reconciliation, reporting and record maintenance.
• Analyze variance root causes to eliminate inventory inaccuracy.
• Transact all unplanned material transactions and miscellaneous receipts in Syteline.
• Perform daily purchase order receipt transactions in Syteline.
• Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing and transacting.
• Process shipping returns.
• Perform Materials Handler I and II job functions as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean workstations(s) and equipment.
Skills Needed:
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong basic computer usage ability for checking data, generating reports, printing labels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (specifically Word and Excel)
• Ability to accurately transact all material and inventory transactions in MRP system
• Certified in the safe operation of a forklift
• Proficient in the safe use of various other material handling equipment
Physical Requirements:
Must occasionally lift up to 70lbs. and consistently be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be free of allergies that are affected by wood, plastic, glues, or resins. Must be able to work at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
